Media Shelver

Shelve returned materials in our media collection for 1 hour per day 1 time a week.  
Qualifications: Age 16 and older; ability to stand for the hour; ability to push a cart weighing 30 pounds; bend and stretch.  Know the alphabet; understand how to shelve within the Dewey Decimal system.

Number of volunteers needed: multiple

Youth Services Shelf Reader

Makes sure books are in call number order, reshelves misplaced books, and straightens books on the shelves.Qualifications: Age 16 and older; Must be able to stand for a period of time; stretch and bend; Must have prior knowledge of the Dewey Decimal system, or a willingness to learn.
