Assist a licensed teacher working with youth ages 5-8 on learning apps provided by Khan Academy.  Each class is 1 hour. (Select any dates that work for your schedule.)

Qualifications: Technology skills - ipad, internet.  Age 14 and older.

Number of volunteers needed:  1 per class.

Delivery Driver

Deliver books once a month to homebound using your personal vehicle.
Qualifications: Valid driver’s license; read and write English; work independently; people communication skills; can lift up to 30 pounds; can stretch and bend. Lifting and carrying bags filled with books is required. Age 18 and older.

Media Shelver

Shelve returned materials in our media collection for 1 hour per day 1 time a week.  
Qualifications: Know the alphabet; understand how to shelve within the Dewey Decimal system; ability to stand for the hour; ability to push a cart weighing 30 pounds; bend and stretch. Age 16 and older.

Number of volunteers needed: multiple

for Youth

Assist a licensed teacher working with youth ages 6-8 on the computer as they create an iron on transfer. Each class is 1.5 hours.  (Select any dates that work for your schedule.)

Qualifications: Technology skills - internet, mouse.  Age 14 and older.

Number of volunteers needed:  1 per class.
