Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Salina Public Library is an organization of volunteer members dedicated to providing visible support for Salina Public Library by raising and donating funds to the library, initiating and sponsoring activities and events, and providing volunteers for library activities.

In addition to supporting the library, Friends members enjoy these benefits:

Incur no daily late fines on library items. Friends are responsible for lost or damaged items. Items are considered lost once 28 days overdue.
Attend the Friends Book Sale Preview Night.

Joe McKenzie Youth Scholarship

The Friends of the Salina Public Library award scholarships for Teen Library Volunteers. Applicants who meet the requirements will be considered for scholarships from $500-$1500.
